Johnny Depp stars as a 200-year-old vampire in Tim Burton's fantastic gothic comedy!
Back in 1772, Barnabas Collins (Johnny Depp) lives the high life as master of Collinwood Manor. But this wealthy, powerful playboy bites off more than he can chew when he breaks the heart of local witch Angelique Bouchard (Eva Green). She exacts a terrible revenge by turning poor Barnabas into a vampire and burying him alive. Two centuries later, he's inadvertently released and finds himself in groovy 1972. As if that wasn't culture shock enough, his dysfunctional descendants have allowed Collinwood to become a ruin. Matriarch Elizabeth Collins Stoddard (Michelle Pfeiffer) even has a live-in psychiatrist, Dr. Julia Hoffman (Helena Bonham Carter), to help her cope. This latest brilliant creation from the twisted team of Tim Burton and Johnny Depp is based on a cult US TV gothic soap opera. Watch out for cameos from shock-rocker Alice Cooper and great '50s screen Dracula Christopher Lee!
The bloodthirsty aquatic critters are back to menace punters at a newly opened water park - in 3D(D)!
Last year, Alexandre Aja's 'Piranha 3D' was both an unexpected hit and a very pleasant surprise. Lashings of nudity, gore and knowing humour delivered exactly what the audience wanted. The film also made particularly inventive use of 3D for some of its more memorable set-pieces. One year on, they're all back. The killer fish, that is. This time they've made their way to the summer's best attraction, the Big Wet Water Park, to sink their teeth into more hapless revellers! Christopher Lloyd also returns as the alarmed marine biologist Mr Goodman. And Ving Rhames reprises his role as Deputy Fallon, even though he seemed to be gobbled up in the first film! Incoming director John Gulagar and 'Saw 3D' writers Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton are horror veterans, having previously collaborated on the cult hit 'Feast'.
Mel Gibson's back in action mode as a crook struggling to survive in a tough Mexican prison!
Driver (Mel Gibson) thought he was on to a winner that would set him up for life. But instead he's being pursued by the US Border Patrol with a car full of ill-gotten cash. The electrifying chase ends spectacularly as our anti-hero smashes through a wall. Now he's across the border and at the mercy of the Mexican cops! Before long, Driver winds up in a brutal, overcrowded and somewhat unsanitary jail down south. And as a 'gringo', he naturally becomes a target for the slammer's nastiest inmates. Luckily, he forms a bond with a troubled young woman (Dolores Heredia) and recruits her streetwise ten-year-old son (Kevin Hernandez) to help him survive. Co-written by Gibson himself, 'How I Spent My Summer Vacation' marks his welcome return to wise-cracking action in the 'Lethal Weapon' mould.

When she tracks down the Beast, he offers a deal - her father can go free if she agrees to stay with him forever. Disney's revolutionary use of computer animation creates dazzling song and dance sequences. 'Beauty and the Beast' also boasts fabulous characters and benefits from Oscar winner Howard Ashman's six stylish musical numbers. Sacha Baron Cohen returns as the world's most appalling tyrant in this hilarious new comedy!
Meet His Excellency Admiral General Shabazz Aladeen (Sacha Baron Cohen). This luxuriantly bearded despot has devoted his life selflessly to ensuring that democracy will never reach his glorious Republic of Wadiya. Indeed, one great benefit of political debate being rendered superfluous is that the country's National Parliament Building has become a tourist attraction. The supreme leader and his elite squad of foxy female bodyguards even make a state visit to America, where they're given a tour of New York City. Aladeen expects to see all the sights - especially Megan Fox! 'Borat' and 'Bruno' director Larry Charles teams up once again with Sacha Baron Cohen for this outrageous comedy at the expense of the vulgarity and ruthlessness of dictators everywhere. And just to complicate matters further, Rose's sleazy boyfriend Manu (Alex Nahon) happens to be Marion's ex! Over the next two days, the couple's relationship is tested to breaking point as their unwelcome visitors push every emotional button. Writer/director/star Julie Delpy delivers a riotously funny, self-contained sequel to her acclaimed '2 Days in Paris'. The battle is well and truly on in this breathtaking blend of eastern martial arts and western action cinema.
In Jakarta, capital city of Indonesia, Rama (Iko Uwais) is a young member of a SWAT team sent into a tower block compound to capture evil drugs baron Tama (Ray Sahetapy). But what the lawmen don't anticipate is that Tama is defended by an army of machete-wielding, machine gun-toting junkie enforcers. For good measure, he also employs a couple of violent martial arts killers. Not only do the good guys have to fight their way in, they also have to fight their way out of this festering nest of vice! Directed by Welshman Gareth Evans, this martial arts tour-de-force has been astonishing film festival audiences around the world. It marks the second collaboration of Evans with Iko Uwais, who brilliantly showcases the traditional Indonesian fighting style known as Silat.
The great Christopher Lee plays the blood-sucking count in this classic Hammer horror.
There's no shortage of screen versions of Bram Stoker's classic vampire tale. Bela Lugosi's 1931 incarnation of toothy Count Dracula was unmatched until Hammer came along in 1958. Under Terence Fisher's direction, Christopher Lee supercharged the bloodsucker with sex appeal. His seductive Dracula proves completely irresistible to women, who succumb with bosoms heaving. But the Count meets his match in the form of eccentric vampire-hunter Dr. Van Helsing (Peter Cushing), who tracks him down to his imposing Klausenberg castle. Hugely controversial back in the 1950s for its stylised crimson fluid excesses, this first Hammer Dracula film was heavily cut by the censor and landed with an 'X' certificate. Now beautifully resorted by the BFI, it is universally recognised as a gothic masterpiece. This screening at Cineworld Dublin is part of the Coca-Cola Cinemagic Film Festival.
A warm and funny tale of marital strife from the writer of 'East is East'.
Atul Dutt (Reece Ritchie) and his beautiful bride Vina (Amara Karan) are looking forward to a fairytale honeymoon. That's mainly because Atul is somewhat intimated by the passion-killing proximity of his first-generation immigrant parents Lopa (Meera Syal) and Eeshwar (Harish Patel). Then the honeymoon is cancelled and the unfortunate young newlyweds find themselves stuck in the Dutt family's Bolton home. Meddling parents, gossiping locals and Atul's annoying little brother all pile on the pressure as nerves fray and tempers rise. Will the marriage be over before it's even been consummated? Adapted by 'East is East' writer Ayub Khan-Din from his acclaimed West End and Broadway play 'Rafta Rafta', this is another truthful, richly observant comedy. Meera Syal and Harish Patel are reunited from the West End cast and joined by attractive, talented rising stars Amara Karan and Reece Ritchie.
Quirky comedy about an aging slacker who sets out to discover his destiny!

He lounges in the basement all day, while his long-suffering widowed mother Sharon (Susan Sarandon) works for a living. Jeff's brother Pat (Ed Helms) has long since flown the nest and now has a miserable job and a troubled relationship with wife Linda (Judy Greer). In an attempt to get Jeff out of the house, Sharon sends him on an errand to buy wood glue. Along the way, he runs into Pat. Since everything happens for a reason, this is clearly a signpost to his destiny! Then they spot Linda with another man and embark on a farcical mission to find out whether she's having an affair. This is a sweet-natured, offbeat comedy from the writer/directors of 'Cyrus', with another great comic performance by Jason Segel.
