Nicolas Cage stars as a master sorcerer searching for his new apprentice in Disney's thrilling new fantasy adventure.

Everything Dave Stutler (Jay Barcuhel) thought he knew about the world is changed forever when a stranger approaches him on the New York subway. Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) is a powerful magician who needs Dave's help. His arch-nemesis, the suave and sophisticated Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina), is planning to enslave the human race using ancient, dark magic. To save the world, Balthazar must give Dave a crash course in the ways of sorcery. But has his reluctant pupil got what it takes to realise his hidden potential? Loosely based on the much-loved sequence in Disney's 1940 animated masterpiece, 'Fantasia', 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice' also stars Toby Kebbell as a celebrity illusionist who becomes embroiled in Horvath's nefarious schemes so that he can receive actual magical abilities, while Monica Bellucci is spellbinding as Balthazar's long-lost love.
