    Lisbeth Salander (Noomi Rapace ) is forced to return to Sweden when she discovers her guardian Bjurman (Peter Andersson) is breaking the conditions of their 'arrangement'. Meanwhile, having served his prison sentence, Mikael Blomkvist (Michael Nyqvist) is back at 'Millennium' magazine, intent on exposing a billion-dollar sex trafficking ring controlled by high profile government officials. When Bjurman is found murdered and two 'Millennium' researchers are shot dead by Bjurman's gun, Lisbeth Salander's fingerprints are found on the weapon.
