Who we are?
The Cineworld Group is one of the leading cinema groups in Ireland and the UK in terms of the number of sites, screens and admissions. It has a portfolio of 77 cinemas and 790 screens operating under the Cineworld brand which stretches as far north and south as Aberdeen and Jersey and as far east and west as Ipswich and Dublin.
What is our history?
Cineworld was founded in 1995 and all but three of its cinemas are "multiplex" with five or more screens per site. In the past year Cineworld has delivered five out of the top eight highest grossing cinemas across Ireland and the UK. Of its portfolio of 77 cinemas Cineworld has 66 sites with digital capability, more than any other exhibitor in the UK. Cineworld currently has 64 sites with 3-D screens and is looking to add more.

Cineworld not only shows the Hollywood blockbusters, but has also become the biggest exhibitor of Bollywood films in the UK and has introduced Tamil films alongside a wide mix of independent, art house and foreign films to suit every taste.
Cineworld's broad range of films satisfies the demand from its unique subscriber service- Unlimited which offers a monthly subscription to see as many movies as the want to a month within one set cost.
