Critically acclaimed comedy-drama Can You Ever Forgive Me? screened in advance for Unlimited members last night.

Melissa McCarthy and Richard E. Grant give Golden Globe and BAFTA-nominated performances in this true story of fraudulent biographer Lee Israel, so what did Unlimited members make of it?

We'll start with this from Jason Green who lauds the performances.

Onedottoomany says the film offers up one of the best buddy duos in recent memory.

Austerity Gamer says that Grant fans will love it.

Natalie says she went in unawares and was delightfully caught off-guard by the movie's blend of humour and pathos.

Henry Peters says it's possibly McCarthy's finest performance so far.

And finally, WorldofBlackout finds it difficult to determine which of the two leads is the bigger scene-stealer...

Anyone else who was at last night's screening can tweet their responses @Cineworld and using #CineworldUnlimited. Can You Ever Forgive Me? goes on wide release on 1st February.

Don't forget your next Unlimited screening takes place on Wednesday 23rd January: heartwarming adoption movie Instant Family starring Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne.
