It's official: 2019 is the year of film, and Cineworld Unlimited members know it too. In fact, at the start of this year we noticed that some Unlimited members set themselves the challenge to make full use of their Unlimited cards by seeing 100 movies in 2019.
So we thought we’d show you just how easy it is to complete the #100FilmsIn2019 challenge by listing just 100 of the epic movies heading your way this year. From comic book

- 53. X-Men: Dark Phoenix – The X-Men franchise retraces its steps somewhat with this reworking of the popular Dark Phoenix comic book saga, originally
dramatised in 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand. This time,however , we continue with the timeline laid down by X-Men movies Days of Future Past and Apocalypse, as the younger Jean Grey (Game of Thrones' Sophie Turner) struggles to contain her burgeoning Phoenix powers.
- 54. Late Night - Emma Thompson stars as the legendary late-night talk show host Katherine Newbury who discovers she is about to get cancelled by her network due to poor ratings. To safe her show, she hires her first female staff writer, played by the delightful Mindy Kaling. Her fresh eyes and honest perspective give the show another wave of life as Katherine finally opens up to her audience and manages to reconnect with both the public and those closest to her.
- 55. Men in Black International – Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are out, Thor: Ragnarok duo Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson are in for this expansion of the blockbusting Men in Black series. Prepare for an introduction to the British arm of the extraterrestrial crime-fighters (represented by a gruff Liam Neeson), as Hemsworth and Thompson no doubt engage in plenty of explosive action and jokey banter.
- 56. Toy Story 4 – Following the tear-jerking and note-perfect conclusion to Disney-Pixar's Toy Story 3, we all thought the story of Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) and
company was wrapped up. It turns out we were wrong – the fourth movie is now on its way, pitched as a "road trip movie", which introduces us to homemade toy Forky (voiced by Arrested Development's Tony Hale). Plus, Keanu Reeves is also voicing one of the toys...
- 57. Child's Play – It was way back in 1988 that the world was first introduced to notorious killer doll Chucky. As voiced by Brad Dourif, Chucky carved his way through a succession of Child's Play movies and spin-offs, but now the time has come for the series to be reworked. And who better to take over the role in this grisly, carnage-strewn reboot than Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill?
- 58. Brightburn – Having been dropped from the third Guardians of the Galaxy movie, director James Gunn now bounces back to produce this subversive horror (co-written by his cousin and brother). Crossing the realms of
superhero movie and psychological chiller, Brightburn stars Pitch Perfect's Elizabeth Banks as an adoptive mother who comes torealise the child in her care is somewhat more than human, and very dangerous...
- 59. Yesterday – Trainspotting director Danny Boyle and Four Weddings writer Richard Curtis are unlikely but charming bedfellows in this imaginative comedy. EastEnders actor Himesh Patel is Jack, a bike courier who recovers from a bump on the head to discover he's the only person in the world who knows the music of The Beatles. As he purloins the Fab Four's music (with a little help from Ed Sheeran), Jack must confront what he's leaving behind in the process.
