Exclusive interview with Aquaman director James Wan

Out now in Cineworld, DC superhero movie Aquaman is awash with Hollywood talent as it brings the title character's story to the big screen.

Jason Momoa once again steps into the Aquaman role, following his ensemble appearance in 2017's Justice League. The movie takes us beneath the raging seas as our hero looks to reclaim the throne of Atlantis from his war-mongering half brother Orm (Patrick Wilson). And bringing everything together is the skill of director James Wan.

Having started his career with horror hits Saw, Insidious and The Conjuring, Wan first made the leap into action blockbusters with Fast & Furious 7. He's now back in popcorn mode with Aquaman, fashioning an iridescent aquatic landscape and rousing superhero story with Momoa at the centre.

We were delighted to catch up with James to discuss the making of the underwater world and more. Check it out below.
