Those mischievous monsters make a welcome return to the big screen to delight a new generation! Randall Peltzer (Hoyt Axton) is searching for a novel Christmas present for his teenage son, Billy (Zach Galligan). In Chinatown, he finds a cute, furry critter called a Mogwai. He's informed that there are three strict rules a responsible owner must follow. Never expose the Mogwai to bright light. Never allow it to get wet. But most important of all, never, ever feed it after midnight. Back home in the picture postcard town of Kingston Falls, Billy is delighted with his adorable little pet, who's now named Gizmo. But when those rules start to get broken, events spiral out of control and it's not long before the townsfolk are being terrorised by hordes of nasty reptilian Gremlins! Executive produced by Steven Spielberg, this brilliant black comedy was one of the biggest box office hits of 1984.
