Tickets and Cancellations

Tickets & Pricing

Ticket prices can be viewed on each cinema’s webpage and are also displayed in cinema. Our prices vary depending on the day and time of the performance, the format of the screening, seating type and from one cinema to another. Weekend prices apply on bank holidays. When booking online you will be asked to choose between different ticket types (e.g. adult, child, student).

We want to offer customers a great cinema experience and good value for money. Our prices vary depending on the day and time of the performance, the format of the screening, seating type and from one cinema to another. We regularly review our prices so that we can continue to provide customers with a great choice of films and invest in the latest cinema technology. We believe that our tickets are competitively priced and we also offer promotions and discounts like off-peak tickets, Meerkat Movies and Movies for Juniors.

Ticket prices vary between cinemas because some have higher rent and running costs.

Each Cineworld cinema has a dedicated cinema page on our website. Search for you local cinema and scroll down to the 'Summary and Prices' section, where you will be able to download a PDF with the local pricing.

Our priority is to offer customers a great cinema experience and good value for money. The booking fee means we can continue to invest in our remote ticketing channels which provide a valuable service to our customers. Customers who want to avoid this fee can book in person. Cineworld continues to offer special promotions including Unlimited, CEA carer tickets and Movies for Juniors, with Unlimited and CEA carer tickets being exempt from booking fees. My Cineworld customers will still receive a discount when booking online.

The Cinebabies performances are aimed at enabling parents with infants to come and watch movies with us in an environment more suitable for small children than our normal screenings- with the lights to half and the sound at a lower volume than normal, though there is no formal restriction on the age of children allowed to come to the performances. The screenings are primarily aimed at the parents rather than the children and we won't show any films rated higher than 12A.

PLEASE NOTE: Cinebabies screenings are paused due to the current Cornovavirus pandemic.

On Saturday and Sunday mornings and during school breaks, selected cinemas offer special screenings with pre-show entertainment for our younger customers. These screenings are an ideal way to introduce your children to the movies at a bargain price: 2D screenings are priced from £2.50 per ticket. Each adults must be accompanied by children.

Premium Movies For Juniors are new films which unlike standard Movies For Juniors have not been screened in the cinema previously but which are still sold at a discounted price - from £5.50 at many cinemas

We also accept all PASS accredited proof of age cards. For more information or to apply for a proof of age I.D card visit: http://www.pass-scheme.org.uk.

All Cineworld Cinemas are equipped with Advance Booking ticket collection points (ATMs). We have tried to ensure we have enough ticket machines.  However, if there is a very long queue you can pick up your ticket from any till point.

    Mobile-ticketing

Book your tickets online as usual and your confirmation email will contain a QR code. If you show this QR code on your mobile screen or on a print out at drop-box (where your tickets get torn on the way into the screen), a team member will scan your code and you, along with anyone else included in your booking can walk straight into your screening. If you have Passbook on your iPhone you can save your mobile-ticket to your Passbook app. You may still collect printed tickets before your screening at the counter or kiosks if you prefer. If you do so, your mobile-ticket / QR code will no longer work and you will need to use the collected tickets to access your film.

Tickets not collected from the cinema box office/till point/ATM or mobile-tickets not presented for entry to the relevant cinema auditorium 10 minutes after the performance time has started will be cancelled.  Tickets booked online using an Unlimited Card must be collected at the cinema at least 20 minutes before the advertised screening time on the day of performance otherwise we may release the ticket for general sale.
