What's the story? From Disney and visionary director Tim Burton, the all-new grand live-action adventure 'Dumbo' expands on the beloved classic story where differences are celebrated, family is cherished and dreams take flight. Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) enlists former star Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) and his children Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins) to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus. But when they discover that Dumbo can fly, the circus makes an incredible comeback, attracting persuasive entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), who recruits the peculiar pachyderm for his newest, larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland. Dumbo soars to new heights alongside a charming and spectacular aerial artist, Colette Marchant (Eva Green), until Holt learns that beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of dark secrets.

Lords of Chaos (wide release)

What's the story? Oslo, 1987: Seventeen year-old Euronymous (Rory Culkin) is determined to escape his idyllic Scandinavian hometown and create 'true Norwegian black metal' with his band, MAYHEM. He's joined by equally fanatical youths – Dead (Jack Kilmer) and Varg (Emory Cohen). Believing that they're on the cusp of a musical revolution, the group gets even darker driven by the black metal dogma to spread evil. They begin burning down churches throughout the countryside and stealing tombstones for their record store. But when the press catches up with them and Euronymous takes more credit than he's earned for the group's violent acts, Varg, fresh out of jail, arranges a dark encounter to settle the score and ultimately determine who the darkest black metal musician is...

Out of Blue (wide release)

What's the story? When homicide detective Mike Hoolihan (Patricia Clarkson) is called to investigate the murder of a leading astrophysicist in New Orleans, she is confronted by a mystery that begins to affect her in ways she had never expected. As the investigation deepens, a darker world is slowly revealed and she must use all of her skills and experience to piece together fragments of a wider conspiracy that lies behind the murder. Manasukkul Oru Mazhaicharal (Tamil)

What's the story? The hero Nakulan is on his way back home enjoying all the changes his village has undergone since he had traveled after for higher studies. He makes a surprise entry and brings a smile to his parents and sisters faces. He gives all the gifts which he had bought for them and keeps aside the parcel he had bought for his lover Arthi. After that he goes in search of his school friend Muthu who has his own shop in the market, and to meet his girlfriend and convey his love for her. Arthi, who is the bread winner for her family, rejects Nakulan"s love, but later, situations make her realize his true love and they get united.

Rabb Da Radio 2 (Punjabi)

What's the story? When Manjinder Singh (Taresem Jassar) takes his newly wedded wife Guddi (Simmi Chahal) to his maternal home, he is heartbroken to discover a changed atmosphere. Once a close-knit family of four maternal uncles living together in one big house is now divided into four parts. No longer do they operate as an extended family as each family thinks for themselves only. The love once shared is now clouded by hurt and bitterness. Manjinder finds this hard to accept and with the help of his wife Guddi, decide to reunite the estranged brothers and their families and recreate the past atmosphere.

Notebook (Hindi)

What's the story? An ex-army officer Kabir (Zaheer Iqbal) comes back to Kashmir to be a schoolteacher. The school is situated in the middle of the remote Wuller Lake, lacking basic amenities like running water and electricity and attended by just a handful of students. This wasn't quite what Kabir imagined when he signed up to teach. At the school, one day, Kabir finds a notebook, left behind by the previous year's teacher Firdaus (Pranutan Bahl) and that changes his entire life. Happy, spirited and heart-warming, Notebook is about two people finding love in the most unexpected way.

Airaa (Tamil)

What's the story? Two women - separated by years, miles and thoughts have an even bigger separation. While Yamuna is born into an upper middle class family, having high professional aims; Bhavani is born into a poor family as an unwanted girl child. Bhavani is behind Yamuna for some mysterious reason. In the end, Yamuna is left with a tough choice. To do or die. What she chooses and what transpires is the rest of the film.

Junglee (Hindi)

What's the story? Raj (Vidyut Jammwal) is a vet in his thirties, living in Mumbai and running a flourishing veterinary clinic. A devoted Kalaripayattu martial artist who works hard and has all a man could want. But we soon learn there's more than what meets the eye. Turn of events make him visit his hometown - a renowned elephant sanctuary 'Chandrika' where lives his father and childhood elephant friend – Bhola. He hadn't set foot back home in ten years, the emotional home coming soon turns into a revenge drama which exposes the underbelly of poaching racket that was flourishing in this quaint village.

Met Opera: Die Walkure (Saturday 30th March, 5pm)

What's the story? Featuring some of the most glorious music ever written-including, of course, the Ride of the Valkyries-Die Walkure is the second of the four operas that comprise Wagner's Ring cycle, a story of monsters, gods, and humans on a superhuman scale. When twins Siegmund and Sieglinde find each other at last, Siegmund promises to release Sieglinde from her forced marriage by killing her husband, Hunding. The god Wotan instructs Valkyrie warrior Brunnhilde to defend Hunding. But, moved by the twins' mutual devotion, Brunnhilde refuses to obey, forging an alliance with Sieglinde that has far-reaching consequences for them both. Soprano Christine Goerke sings Brunnhilde, tenor Stuart Skelton and soprano Eva-Maria Westbroek are the love-struck twins, and Ring cycle veteran Philippe Jordan conducts.

ROH Royal Ballet Live: La Forza Del Destino (Tuesday 2nd April, 6.15pm)

What's the story? Leonora falls in love with Don Alvaro, but when her father forbids their marriage, a fatal accident triggers a drama of obsession, vengeance and tragedy. Jonas Kaufmann and Anna Netrebko star in Verdi's epic La Forza Del Destino (The Force of Destiny) an opera which demands the very best of singers for its powerful music and the fullest theatrical treatment for its story of bitter revenge pursued across miles and years. The production comes to The Royal Opera in a sensational staging from Amsterdam packed with colour and action. It is directed by Christof Loy and conducted by Antonio Pappano, Music Director of The Royal Opera.

Khalid: Free Spirit (Wednesday 3rd April, 7pm)

What's the story? Multi-platinum award winning global superstar Khalid celebrates the upcoming release of his highly anticipated sophomore album 'Free Spirit' with a special companion short film, also titled 'Free Spirit' which will be screened as a one-night event in cinemas worldwide. This special fan event will include the big screen premiere of 'Free Spirit' followed by an exclusive early listen of the album. 'Free Spirit' is a short film conceived and created by Khalid and Emil Nava. It's a direct creative parallel to his new album, using the new music to tell the stories of the beauty and the pain of growing up as Khalid has always done in his work. This film expands on his lyrics and artistry by sharing a visual story as a companion piece. The event night will begin with a special intro to fans, followed by the screening and will conclude with the album listening featuring never-before seen commentary from Khalid.

Yuli: The Carlos Acosta Story – ROH Live (Wednesday 3rd April, 7pm)

What's the story? YULI had its World Premiere at the San Sebastian Film Festival, where it won the Best Screenplay Award. It has gone on to receive five nominations for the Spanish 'Goya' awards including Best New Actor for Carlos Acosta, Best Cinematography and Best Adapted Screenplay. Based on Carlos Acosta's autobiography NO WAY HOME – A CUBAN DANCER'S STORY, it is his own story about growing up in Cuba, becoming a dancer, moving to London and his relationship with his father, his family and his country. The cast includes Carlos Acosta playing himself and introduces Edilson Manuel Olbera playing Carlos as a boy, Keyvin Martinez who plays Carlos as a young man and Santiago Alfonso as his father.

The King and I – from the London Palladium encore (Thursday 4th April, 7pm)

What's the story? The multi-award winning and critically acclaimed Lincoln Center Theater' production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's The King And I comes to cinemas in this unmissable event recorded live from London's iconic Palladium. Reprising her Tony Award-winning role, 'Broadway musical's undisputed Queen' (The Sunday Times) Kelli O'Hara (Anna) takes to the stage alongside Tony and Oscar nominee Ken Watanabe (The King) in a 'powerhouse' (The Times) performance. Also returning to her Tony Award winning role as Lady Thiang is Ruthie Ann Miles. Set in 1860's Bangkok, the musical tells the story of the unconventional and tempestuous relationship that develops between the King of Siam and Anna, a British schoolteacher whom the modernist King, in an imperialistic world, brings to Siam to teach his many wives and children. With one of the finest scores ever written including; Whistle a Happy Tune, Getting to Know You, and Shall We Dance, and featuring a company of over 50 world-class performers, The King and I is a testament to the lavish heritage of gloriously romantic musical theatre – it is the greatest musical from the golden age of musicals.
