We're sad to inform you Cineworld Castleford is undergoing a temporary closure – but at the same time delighted to announce it's also undergoing a complete refurbishment, so soon you'll be able to enjoy all your favourite films in our transformed cinema.
Don't worry movie fans. Your nearest Cineworld IMAX is now either the new Cineworld Leeds or Cineworld Sheffield. We've recently upgraded screens one and eight in both cinemas, including the new 4DX screen that immerses you with motion-assisted seats and effects including water, wind, fog, bubbles – and even snow.
In the meantime, as the refurbishment continues you will still be able to enjoy all the latest blockbusters like Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. We look forward to seeing you on your next visit.
