The Last Letter From Your Lover, based on Jojo Moyes' novel, offers not one but two swooning stories of romance, split across the 1960s and the present day. Rogue One star Felicity Jones plays journalist Ellie who discovers a mysterious love letter, which points towards a passionate affair on the French Riviera between her late editor J (played as a young woman by Shailene Woodley) and writer Anthony (Callum Turner). At the same time that she's delving into the past, romance skeptic Ellie begins her own tentative relationship with archivist Rory (Nabhaan Rizwan).
The movie screened in advance last night for Cineworld Unlimited audiences, so were they swept along by the movie's period chic and sense of amour? We've selected a few responses.
An interesting story of how love knows no bounds and despite many a challenge or extreme love will always prevails #CineworldUnlimited #TheLastLetterfromYourLover

#TheLastLetterFromYourLover was actually lovely; not a by-the-numbers weepie, but bittersweet. Recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
