4DX is now open at Cineworld Swindon Shaw Ridge

Calling all you Cineworlders in Swindon! Get ready for a cinema revolution – because Cineworld's new 4DX auditorium is now open at Cineworld Shaw Ridge! The exciting opening coincides with the wider re-opening of Cineworld cinemas in England on 31st July. Here's what you need to know.

What is 4DX?

Simply, it's the evolution of your cinema experience. Available in both 2D and 3D, it stimulates all five senses through seats that move and vibrate and special effects such as snow, wind, fog, lightning, bubbles, water, and scents.

And to make the launch of this new look cinema extra special, Cineworld Swindon Shaw Ridge has revealed some exciting offers that will be available from opening day, including classic film screenings from just £5 in standard screening rooms, and less than £10 for 4DX. The cinema will also be hosting a special 4DX Never Been Seen screening programme, showing epic classics in 4DX, for the first time ever in the UK, including Inception, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Jurassic Park.
