Avengers: Endgame will be released one day earlier in the UK

Christmas has come early for all you Marvel fans – it's been confirmed that Avengers: Endgame will be released in the UK one day earlier than the USA.

That means we're getting it on 25th April, as opposed to the original scheduled date of the 26th. (That said, lucky so-and-so's in Australia, France, Italy and the Netherlands are getting it even earlier on 24th April.)

The news came via the Twitter feed of ComScore Movies UK & Ireland.

Avengers: Endgame will be released in the UK one day earlier

Avengers: Endgame concludes phase three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Picking up in the wake of the devastation wrought by Thanos (Josh Brolin) in last year's Avengers: Infinity War, the movie finds the Avengers at their lowest ebb.

With Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) drifting alone in space, and a devastated Captain America (Chris Evans) stranded in Wakanda, everything seems bleak. However, our heroes have got the surprise emergence of Scott Lang/Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) on their side, not to mention a potential saviour in the form of one Captain Marvel (Brie Larson)...

The storyline of Avengers: Endgame remains shrouded in mystery – it's been reported that any trailer footage will only come from the movie's first 20 minutes.

Speculation is rampant that both Downey Jr. and Evans will bow out of the MCU in style, as we anticipate Marvel's highly secretive phase four stage, which kicks off with the July release of Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Just to remind you – Avengers: Endgame is now reaching UK shores on 25th April, so let us know who you think will survive the movie @Cineworld.
