Cineworld Unlimited screenings this December: Summering and A Love Song

Lucky Cineworld Unlimited members will be treated to two special advance screenings this December. Has Christmas come early? More than likely. As part of the Unlimited club, you get to enjoy previews as part of your membership, with both Summering and A Love Song coming your way very soon.

Summering (screening on November 22) comes from acclaimed director James Ponsoldt who has brought his unique indie sensibility to the acclaimed likes of The Spectacular Now and The End of the Tour. Set during a hot and humid July 4th weekend, the movie follows a group of loyal young friends as they discover a dead body in the woods.

The central quartet is charmingly played by screen newcomers Lia Barnett, Emma Grace Redfield, Sanai Victoria and Madalen Mills. With distinct overtones of the classic Stephen King adaptation Stand By Me, this is poised to be a sweet-natured ode to the all-important shift from childhood to adolescence. Check out the trailer below.

A Love Song (screening on November 29) comes from first-time director Max Walker-Silverman. The synopsis is as follows: "Two widowed friends, Faye and Lito, spend a night together by a lake in the Colorado Mountains."

Walker-Silverman has stressed his use of silence in the film, saying that he "gave these characters the gift of silence with the knowledge that these roles would be played by two masters." Said masters are acclaimed actors Dale Dickey (Hell or High Water; Breaking Bad) and Wes Studi (Last of the Mohicans; Heat), and their gentle chemistry plays out against the spectacular backdrop of the American wilderness. The trailer is ready to watch below.
