Downton Abbey interviews: Julian Fellowes and Penelope Wilton chat to us

The Downton Abbey movie is currently presiding over the UK box office, with opulent grosses of £13.2 million. It's a sure-fire sign of the concept's enduring popularity, and the film brings us the latest chapter in the upstairs/downstairs saga of Lord and Lady Grantham.

We were delighted to catch up with series creator and movie screenwriter Julian Fellowes, who hopes that those who watch the film will "almost cry". We also spoke to British acting royalty Penelope Wilton, who returns as the prim Isobel Crawley, and asked who her favourite Downton character is. It turns out that's something of a difficult task...

Can't get enough Downton in your life? Don't forget to check out our memorably giggly interview with Laura Carmichael, Michelle Dockery and Allen Leech.
