Rediscover the magic of cinema with family movies at Cineworld

It'll be time to rekindle the wonder of the cinema experience when Cineworld re-opens on May 19th. But do you know what's even more magical? Seeing the experience rendered on your kids' faces. On that note, we're opening with a host of family-friendly films to induce a sense of fun and awe. Scroll down to find out more.

1. Treat your kids and rediscover the magic of cinema

Bored of the sight of your own living room? Thinking that the TV looks a bit... pokey? Looking for a break from the endless cycle of the same family films on streaming or DVD?

With Cineworld cinemas re-opening on May 19th, you can re-engage with the magic of the big-screen experience that's now been painfully absent for several months. And with several family-friendly blockbusters arriving in time for our opening, you can introduce, or re-introduce, the kids to the wonder of the big screen.

As the lights go down and the screen expands, you can collectively share that breathless moment with your young ones, all in anticipation of the movie that's about to begin. Watching films at home has become routine amidst the chaos of the last year, but there's no beating the feel of being back in the cinema after a long absence. Home may be familiar, but going to the cinema is an event, and something that deserves to be shared among people of all ages.

2. Adults pay kids' prices with the Cineworld Family Ticket

Get ready to 'Be More Childish' as adults pay kids’ prices with the Cineworld Family Ticket. Valid for groups of four with up to two adults (either two adults and two children or one adult and three children).

3. Enjoy the latest big-screen releases

The mischievous Peter Rabbit scampers back into cinemas in sequel Peter Rabbit 2. James Corden returns to voice the intrepid bunny in this continuation of the 2018 family blockbuster, itself based on Beatrix Potter's endearing book creation.

Animated threequel Maya the Bee: The Golden Orb sends characters Maya and Will buzzing on another round of family-friendly adventures.

And finally, there's the visually spectacular Disney animation Raya and the Last Dragon. Be whisked into the mystical land of Kumandra in this story of brave warrior Raya (Kelly Marie Tran) and her firebreathing friend Sisu (Awkwafina).
