Unlimited screenings: See three great movies in the space of a week with your Unlimited card

Cineworld Unlimited members have a massive treat in store as we're presenting not one, not two, but THREE fantastic Unlimited screenings within the space of a week.

On 20 September, our triple bill commences with The Woman King, an action-packed epic set in 1820s Africa.

On 26 September, we'll be showing the spine-tingling psychological horror flick Smile, written and directed by Parker Finn in his feature-film debut.

And finally, on 27 September, you can feast your eyes on The Lost King, starring Steve Coogan and Sally Hawkins.

Want to know more about each movie? Here's a breakdown of the must-see films in question.

1. The Woman King (IMAX and 3D)

Unlimited screening: 20 September

“A crowd-pleasing epic... think Braveheart with Black women” is how The Hollywood Reporter described Gina Prince-Blythewood's historical opus, which tells the story of the all-female warrior unit that protected the West African kingdom of Dahomey between the 17th and 19th centuries.

Starring Viola Davis, best known for her Oscar-winning performance in Fences (2016), and Lashana Lynch, who played alongside Daniel Craig in No Time To Die, The Woman King is a breathtaking drama that's been winning plaudits across the board.

Don't miss the advance screening in breathtaking IMAX, all the better to show off the scope, scale and majesty of Dahomey's army as they head off to war.

2. Smile

Unlimited screening: 26 September

If chills and spills float your boat, then you won't want to miss this psychological horror, the debut feature film from writer/director Parker Finn. It stars Sosie Bacon (daughter of film legend Kevin) as a doctor whose life begins to fall apart after she witnesses the brutal death of one of her patients.

Packed with jump-out-of-your-seat scares and genuinely creepy moments, Smile has been described as “the only threat to [Jordan Peele's Nope] for what could be the best horror movie of the year”. High praise indeed.

3. The Lost King

Unlimited screening: 27 September

Directed by Stephen Frears (The Queen, Philomena) and co-written by Steve Coogan and Jeff Pope (Stan & Ollie), The Lost King is a comedy-drama based on the 2012 Leicester car park discovery, in which the remains of Richard III were exhumed.

Featuring The Shape of Water star Sally Hawkins as Philippa Langley, the amateur historian who led the hunt for the king, and Coogan as her ex-partner John, it's already received some positive reviews, with Collider stating “it has an inherent charm to it that's easy to get lost in”.
