The Big Short director Adam McKay is back with angry and irreverent political satire Vice, a movie that explores former US vice president Dick Cheney's rise to power under President George W. Bush.
Golden Globe winner and BAFTA nominee Christian Bale undergoes an uncanny transformation to play the ruthless Cheney. In this multi-generational story Bale embodies the influential politician at all stages, from his early days in Washington to his position as the greying, heavyset yet quietly manipulative engine of the 'Dubya' era, one who exerted considerable influence over foreign policy.
Fellow BAFTA nominees Amy Adams and Sam Rockwell lend scene-stealing support as Cheney's wife Lynne and President Bush, while Steve Carell also features as Secretary of Defence Donald Rumsfeld. It's a movie that's bound to provoke sharp opinion (indeed, it already has in America) and you can check out the trailer below.

Then, later in the week, we hail the comeback of writer-director M. Night Shyamalan in moody thriller Glass, the sequel to the director's films Unbreakable and Split.
Unbreakable opponents David Dunn (Bruce Willis) and Elijah Price/Mr. Glass (Samuel L. Jackson) now find themselves incarcerated in an psychiatric facility for those who believe they're superheroes. When they cross paths with fellow inmate and split personality psychopath Kevin (James McAvoy), the entire world is threatened, as the scheming Glass engineers a deadly hero vs villain stand-off.
