Nun-themed horror Immaculate has screened in advance for Unlimited members and they've made a habit of sharing their reactions. Anyone But You and Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney plays the unsuspecting novitiate who suddenly becomes pregnant, only to discover her child lies at the centre of a horrific religious conspiracy.
Boosted by some truly gnarly gore and Sweeney's full-throttle performance, Immaculate has more than enough to shock and startle. Sydney Sweeney is absolutely mesmerising in the lead role. An incredibly ferocious and barbaric tone that was enshrouded well in its mystery and ambiguity, with spellbinding cinematography. However, it needed more explanation on what was really going on. Final sequence is perfect

A solid 3 stars film & gets an extra 0.5 stars for the incredible & insane performance from 1 of my current faves Sydney Sweeney. The ending sent shivers down my spine & has had a long lasting impression from me. I can see why it's an 18 rating, pretty twisted & very good.
