Blue Beetle is set to be a bold and exciting new addition to the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). Released next year, the movie focuses on Mexican college graduate Jaime Reyes (Cobra Kai's Xolo Mariduena) who comes into possession of ancient alien technology in the form of a mystical scarab. Here's your first look at the poster.
In the words of the official synopsis, "When the Scarab suddenly chooses Jaime to be its symbiotic host, he is bestowed with an incredible suit of armour capable of extraordinary and unpredictable powers, forever changing his destiny as he becomes the Super Hero Blue Beetle."
With its intriguingly diverse cast, which also includes Brazilian actor Bruna Marquezine and screen veteran Susan Sarandon, the movie will shed light on previously undisclosed corners of the DCEU.
