Five movies at Cineworld to brighten up your Blue Monday

The following list of movies, ranging from Oscar contenders to all-action outbursts, is exactly what you need to banish those January blues.

And the best thing? These movies will still be screening at Cineworld even after Blue Monday is in the rearview mirror. Keep on reading to discover what they are.

1. Poor Things

Join Emma Stone's free-thinking human experiment Bella Baxter in this outlandish, arresting and hilarious comedy. Stone is being tipped to win her second Oscar for this story of one woman's search for liberation, both physical and intellectual, amidst a visually dazzling steam-punk world. It's exactly the kind of madness one expects from Yorgos Lanthimos, acclaimed director of The Favourite and The Lobster. Mark Ruffalo and Willem Dafoe lend scene-stealing support.
