4DX at Cineworld Castleford opens this June!

Calling all you Cineworlders in Castleford! Get ready for a cinema revolution – because Cineworld's new 4DX auditorium is opening on 1st June! Here's what you need to know.

What is 4DX?

Simply, it's the evolution of your cinema experience. Available in both 2D and 3D, it stimulates all five senses through seats that move and vibrate and special effects such as snow, wind, fog, lightning, bubbles, water, and scents.

The screen

The auditorium will house 152 seats, all with cutting-edge visuals and surround sound to pull audiences into the heart of the biggest blockbusters like Solo: A Star Wars Story and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

Cineworld Unlimited Card holders can also enjoy access to an unlimited number of films per month for less than the price of two new-release peak time tickets, at just £17.90 per month (or £20.40 for London West End cinemas).
