Cineworld Newport Spytty Park is treated to a thrilling new upgrade on 6th November. The cinema has undergone a major new transformation, including comfortable and stylish new seating and a newly improved Starbucks.

Cineworld 4DX: bringing extreme cinema to the UK

We're the only cinema chain in the UK and Ireland to host the exhilarating and thrilling capabilities of 4DX technology.

Providing a revolutionary cinematic experience which stimulates all five senses, 4DX features high-tech moving seats and special effects including wind, fog, water and scents which synchronise perfectly with the action on screen to fully place you in the world of the movie.

The first-ever ScreenX in Wales

Since its initial roll-out in the UK last year, ScreenX has grown rapidly to transform the Cineworld movie-going experience. And we're delighted to announce that Cineworld Newport Spytty Park will open first-ever ScreenX in Wales.

ScreenX is the world’s first multi-projection theatre technology that provides moviegoers with a 270-degree panoramic viewing experience by expanding the screen onto the side walls of the auditorium. It crafts a fully immersive experience that pulls you into the world of your favourite films.
