Start your engines because the Unlimited screening of Gran Turismo is racing its way toward you this summer. The hugely successful PlayStation franchise now gets its big-screen adaptation with rising star Archie Madekwe in the lead role and District 9's Neill Blomkamp directing. And as an Unlimited member, you get to see it first on August 7th.
Madekwe plays devoted Gran Turismo gamer Jann whose skills on the digital circuit earn him pole position in a real-life race. However, this is no simulation but an actively hair-raising and dangerous scenario with actual life-or-death consequences. Jann must harness his raw abilities and learn to master the track with the help of his gruff coach Jack (David Harbour) and promoter Danny (Orlando Bloom).
With its onslaught of high-speed action sequences, this is set to please the hardcore fans of the series while also giving newbies plenty of pedal-to-the-metal mayhem. Check out the new trailer below.
