Cineworld Unlimited members may be waiting for a good day sunshine, but were nevertheless delighted with last night's preview screening of Beatles-themed comedy Yesterday.
Danny Boyle directs and Richard Curtis scripts this sweet story of bike courier Jack (Himesh Patel), who purloins the music of the Fab Four after he discovers he's the only person in the world who remembers them. Lily James co-stars and Ed Sheeran cameos in this affectionate story of the perils of fame, one set to a soundtrack of timeless hits.
So what did Unlimited audiences make of the movie? We'll start with this from Emma@TheMovies who lauds Patel's central performance.
#YesterdayMovie was wonderful fun. I thought Himesh Patel was brilliant as Jack and I adored Joel Fry as Rocky. The little twists that were in it really made for exciting viewing. I’ll definitely be going to see it again. Thank you, @cineworld!

Dave Billingsley says it's a fitting tribute to the music of John, Paul, George and Ringo.
#YesterdayMovie is a great, feel good film. @HimeshJPatel and Lily James play great leads, & Kate McKinnon equally great in support. Plenty of other familiar faces join in the fun, too. A fond tribute to music of the Fab Four. Highly recommended.
