Experience the Top Gun: Maverick trailer in 270-degree ScreenX

Need a reason to watch this summer's Top Gun: Maverick in ScreenX? We're excited to present the latest trailer in the 270-degree ScreenX format, which puts you in the cockpit alongside Tom Cruise's ace pilot, Maverick. Strap in, hold on and enjoy the ride.

ScreenX uses a 270-degree wraparound presentation to put audiences in the heart of the action. Exclusive to Cineworld cinemas in the UK, the state-of-the-art technology uses up to twelve additional projectors to extend the film out onto the side walls of the screening room, extending the movie beyond one's peripheral vision.

Top Gun: Maverick reunites us with Cruise's title character after more than 35 years. The original Top Gun, directed by Tony Scott and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Don Simpson, was an emblem of the MTV era: slick, glossy, loud and spectacular. The film made an immediate superstar of Cruise and his beaming smile, powered by the Harold Faltermeyer soundtrack and Kenny Loggins' 'Danger Zone', not to mention the Oscar-winning Berlin number 'Take My Breath Away.'

The sequel brings Maverick back into the fold as a trainer of some new cadets, including Lt. Bradley 'Rooster' Bradshaw (Miles Teller), the son of Maverick's late wingman, Goose (Anthony Edwards). The supporting cast includes Jon Hamm and Jennifer Connelly while the film is directed by Joseph Kosinski who helmed Cruise in 2013's Oblivion.

Top Gun: Maverick plays at the Cannes Film Festival on 18th May and will make its worldwide debut on 27th May.
