Having battled a killer shark in 2016's The Shallows, actor Blake Lively turns her attention to covert operations in thriller The Rhythm Section, adapted by Mark Burnell from his own novel.
Lively stars as Stephanie Patrick, a young woman whose family is killed in a plane crash. However, it turns out the tragedy wasn't accidental but engineered, and becomes a deadly assassin to hunt down those who wronged her.
James Bond producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli collaborate with the director of The Handmaid's Tale, Reed Morano, for a violent and gripping story of retribution. The supporting cast includes Black Panther's Sterling K. Brown and Captain Marvel's Jude Law.
