Champions: Woody Harrelson stars in your upcoming Unlimited screening

Oscar nominee Woody Harrelson (Triangle of Sadness) unites with director Bobby Farrelly (There's Something About Mary) for the uplifting basketball comedy-drama Champions. The movie screens in advance for Cineworld Unlimited members this February, promising to land a slam dunk with its inclusion of neurodivergent actors to portray an aspiring sports team.

In this English-language remake of the 2018 Spanish-language movie Campeones (itself inspired by a true story), Harrelson plays disgraced basketball coach Marcus. Thrown out of the big leagues, he's seeking redemption and is reluctantly put in charge of a minor league team of players with learning disabilities.

It's Marcus' job to get the squad ready for the Special Olympics, setting in motion an emotional arc that's equal parts funny and poignant. Ghostbusters favourite Ernie Hudson co-stars in the movie and you can watch the trailer below.
