Dune: a reminder that your Unlimited screening is tonight

Do you feel like being transported to another world? Then be sure to book your tickets for tonight's Unlimited screening of Dune, if you haven't done so already.

Denis Villeneuve's spectacular staging of Frank Herbert's 1965 novel is nirvana for science-fiction fans, or those who have been generally starved of big-screen spectacle during the last 18 months. The complex saga relays the struggle between the Houses of Atreides and Harkonnen, whose feud is magnified through the desert planet of Arrakis.

Arrakis is the only source of the spice melange, a coveted substance that is at the centre of a brewing intergalactic storm. When young Paul Atreides discovers his family has been betrayed by the Harkonnens, it sets in motion an epic voyage of discovery, one flanked by allies and traitors on all sides. This includes the mysterious religious order the Bene Gesserit, of whom Paul's mother, Lady Jessica, is one.

Shot in IMAX by Villeneuve and cinematographer Grieg Fraser, the scale and sweep of Dune is not to be denied. The all-star cast, meanwhile, includes Timotheé Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Zendaya, Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem, Jason Momoa and Stellan Skarsgard.
