Boonie Bears: Back To Earth (out now)
Kind-hearted bear brothers Briar and Bramble have long protected their forest home. In their latest animated adventure, Bramble stumbles upon a piece of alien tech and meets cat-like Avi, discovering the crisis that forced her people to leave Earth millions of years ago. Now he must help save his homeland from sinister forces.
The Bad Guys (out now)
It’s criminal how hard it is to go straight. At least, it is for lupine pickpocket Mr Wolf (played with wisecracking charisma by Sam Rockwell) and his animal criminal crew, The Bad Guys. Caught red-handed, the gang must at least pretend to go good. And when a new villain appears, will they be able to show they’ve changed – and save the city too?
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (out now)
There’s double trouble in the new part-animated movie based on the hit videogame franchise. This time the wisecracking blue hedgehog teams up with two-tailed fox sidekick Tails. Together they must foil Dr Robotnik (a deliciously OTT Jim Carrey) and his henchman – or, rather, hench-echidna – Knuckles (voiced by Idris Elba) in his attempts to find the ancient Master Emerald and bend reality.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore (out now)
Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) returns to cinemas in the third Fantastic Beasts film, once again trying to defeat the scheming Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen). This thrilling instalment in the series sees Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) recruit Newt and a plucky team of witches, wizards and muggles to thwart Grindelwald's plan to take over the wizarding world.
Expect globetrotting adventures, epic magical battles and, of course, an amazing array of magical creatures.
