Harry Potter marathon in Cineworld: experience all 8 movies in widescreen and immersive 4DX

We've got a magical announcement to make as the autumn nights draw in. You can now book your tickets for our spectacular Harry Potter marathon in Cineworld. All eight movies will be showing on the big screen where they belong, in both standard and immersive 4DX formats. (More details below.)

Retrace the journey of Daniel Radcliffe's boy wizard, as he grows from innocent Hogwarts student to the heroic figure battling the fiendish Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes). This is your chance to nostalgically re-experience the entire character arc contained within one of the most successful movie franchises of all time.

You won't need a sorting hat to get all the essential information. Here are the movies in order, and the dates on which they're showing.

Saturday 4th December: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Start, as they say, at the beginning with the fledgling adventure of Harry, Hermione (Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint) as they set foot inside the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the first time. Then follow it up with the increasingly perilous The Chamber of Secrets, which features classic set-pieces including the spider attack.

Sunday 5th December: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Adolescence and the encroaching menace of Lord Voldemort go hand in hand as the Potter films darken, importing new directors Alfonso Cuaron and Mike Newell into the fold.

Sat 11th December: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Radcliffe's reluctant Harry steps up to the mantle of battling Voldemort in the first two movies directed by Potter stalwart David Yates (who would go on to helm the Fantastic Beasts films).

Sunday 12th December: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and The Deathly Hallows Part 2

The wizarding saga comes to an explosive and emotional end with multiple revelations and heartbreaking switchbacks about key characters.

What is 4DX?

Feel the Harry Potter magic in your bones with the moving seats and immersive atmospheric effects courtesy of 4DX. Quidditch battles, spells and all manner of spectacular set-pieces become more tangible with stimulating effects like water, wind, scent and strobe lighting, all of which are timed to enhance what’s happening on screen.
