Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile: go behind the scenes with voice actor Shawn Mendes

Music star Shawn Mendes voices a toothily adorable house guest in this week's major new family release, Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile.

The movie is adapted from the book The House on East 88th Street by Bernard Waber. When young croc Lyle's singing abilities are discovered by Hector P. Valenti (Javier Bardem), it seems as if the amphibian's vocal talents will propel him into the big leagues.

Circumstances, however, bring Lyle into the path of the Primm family where he makes friends with son Josh (Winslow Fegley). The latter vows to protect his new best friend from scheming neighbour Mr. Grumps (Brett Gelman).

Go behind the scenes with Mendes in the following clip and discover how he brought Lyle to life.
