The Rhythm Section: watch 2 new Blake Lively clips

Blake Lively is on a deadly mission in these two new clips from action-thriller The Rhythm Section, adapted by Mark Burnell from his own book. Lively plays a young woman who discovers that the death of her parents in a plane crash was no accident, sending her on a worldwide course of vengeance.

The film comes from producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, otherwise known as the gurus behind the James Bond franchise. So, they clearly know their way around the world of high-stakes espionage, and the film is directed by Reed Morano, a dab hand with tales of empowerment having helmed TV hit The Handmaid's Tale.

Captain Marvel's Jude Law also features in these extracts, which show Lively's character Stephanie learning the ropes of survival and seduction. Law plays her straight-talking and appropriately mysterious mentor Iain – already, we're thinking he's not to be trusted...
