Take your DC Extended Universe (DCEU) experience higher, further and faster at Cineworld in IMAX, 4DX, ScreenX and Superscreen.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom reunites us with Jason Momoa's brawny Atlantean ruler as he fights to preserve all he loves from the evil Black Mantha (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II). To that end, Aquaman enlists the help of his imprisoned brother and one-time nemesis Orm (Patrick Wilson) to destroy the insurgent threat.

Given the surge of character, spectacle, humour and DCEU lore, one cannot resist Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom in IMAX. The movie spans both the familiar terrain of planet Earth and the distant, mystical corners of Atlantis, and IMAX's greatly expanded aspect ratio enhances this sense of sweeping scale.

Larger-than-usual screens combine with a unique remastering process so every aquatic action sequence and Atlantean vista glistens with added detail. The Aquaman sequel was specially filmed with IMAX in mind and the enlarged aspect ratio adds 26% more screen dimension than your standard widescreen presentation.

A perfectly tuned integrated sound and speaker system is the icing on the cake for how it sonically absorbs you in Aquaman's fight to maintain his kingdom.

Find out more about the Aquaman IMAX remastering process in the following behind-the-scenes video.

DCEU movies are renowned as rollercoaster rides that exhilaratingly hurl you from one spectacular set piece to the next. But forget about passively watching the movie in your standard widescreen presentation. Instead, import the physical impact of the movie directly into your Cineworld experience.

4DX is a multi-sensory format that is unique to Cineworld cinemas in the UK and Ireland. Motion-programmed seats are timed to Aquaman's every quicksilver move and moment of combat. And the immersive 4DX water effects are exactly what you need to replicate the rippling, ebbing, underwater feeling of Aquaman's secretive kingdom.

To reiterate, this is an experience that is wholly unique to Cineworld. In other words, nowhere else can you feel the tactility of Atlantis as it plays out in front of you.

The specifics of 4DX and how it works to immerse a movie audience can be discovered in our behind-the-scenes video clip.

ScreenX is exclusive to Cineworld cinemas, promising a 270-degree viewing experience that you won't find anywhere else. The state-of-the-art technology uses up to twelve additional projectors to extend the film out onto the side walls of the screening room, for a truly atmospheric experience that surrounds you in your seat.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will extend beyond your peripheral vision to place you right in the heart of the action. In doing so, it promises to heighten your connection to the characters and feel more uniquely embedded in their quest to save the universe.

Another Cineworld exclusive, Superscreen fuses state-of-the-art projection, delivered on huge screens, with breathtaking multidimensional sound powered by epic Dolby Atmos speakers. In other words, it'll make you feel like you're right there in Atlantis surrounded by the teeming myriads of Aquaman's allies and enemies.
