Zootropolis 2, Wicked: For Good are some of the great releases out now – and more are coming
The end of the year is reserved for some of the most exciting new family hits, with this time of year all about getting cosy, sitting in the dark, and watching a new adventure unfold.
Right now Zootropolis 2 is showing at Cineworld, alongside the second part to our story in Oz, Wicked: For Good. And more family movies are on the way in December, as we return to Pandora in James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash.

You can still catch Wicked: For Good in 4DX, but if you’re after a more festive experience while your chair moves and the elements are thrown at you, The Polar Express is returning to Cineworld in 4DX. There will be snow, there will be sweet smells, it will be magical and you should definitely go and experience the Tom Hanks movie for yourself.
Better yet, as it’s a family film, it comes as a part of Cineworld’s Family Films deal this December (more on that later) with 4DX tickets for Cineworld reduced to just £5 each.
See festive favourites back on the big screen
Shiny new movies certainly are exciting, but there’s also something special about seeing a beloved film from years past back on the big screen. It’s sort of like that feeling of flicking over the channel to find a film you like is on, as opposed to just choosing something on a streaming service.
Well, that’s what Cineworld’s Christmas Film Season is all about, and there are some wonderful choices for all the family including The Polar Express, which, as we mentioned, you can watch in 4DX.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Elf, Home Alone, and Home Alone 2 will also be screening during the Christmas holidays, as well as Muppet Christmas Carol, and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
