What can we expect from the Buenos Aires concert?

The event is catnip for Coldplay fans, allowing you to celebrate the group live on the big screen, and broadcast directly from Argentina.

Coldplay brings audiences an all-encompassing stream of hits from their career including Yellow, The Scientist, Fix You, Viva La Vida, A Sky Full Of Stars, and My Universe. It’s also a sensory and visual experience as the Buenos Aires River Plate stadium bursts with lights, lasers, fireworks, and LED wristbands, augmented by Paul Dugdale’s direction (more on whom below).

Who directed the concert?

Coldplay’s Buenos Aires concert is directed by Paul Dugdale. He is a BAFTA-winning and Grammy-nominated filmmaker with an established pedigree in working with celebrated concert artists.

Dugdale’s previous work includes Taylor Swift’s Reputation Stadium Tour, Harry Styles’ One Night Only in New York TV special and Adele’s One Night Only TV documentary. Dugdale has also worked with Coldplay in the past during their Live From Concert Pledge Arena event.

What formats is the concert playing in?

Experience Music from the Spheres in the unique multisensory environment of 4DX. This is unique to Cineworld cinemas in the UK and Ireland and the seat-shaking, overwhelming nature of Coldplay's spectacular concert brings 4DX to life. Moving seats simulate the tactility of the group's stage presence while wind, rain and effects help put you into the live environment like nothing else.

Music from the Spheres is also playing in ScreenX. This format is another Cineworld exclusive, deploying a 270-degree wrap-around approach to project a given movie onto the side walls of the auditorium. The end result: the feeling of having stepped into Coldplay's jaw-dropping gig at Buenos Aires yourself. Get a sense of the ScreenX experience in the following clip.
