Keanu Reeves is looking sharp on the new poster for John Wick: Chapter 4

Mass mayhem has never looked as debonair as it does in John Wick: Chapter 4. Before we describe the plot, here's the new poster as revealed at the recent Brazil CCXP.

Keanu Reeves on John Wick: Chapter 4 movie poster

At the end of John Wick 3: Parabellum, the barely-alive Wick swore vengeance on the entirety of the High Table. He was taken in by underground mobster the Bowery King (played by Reeves' Matrix co-star Laurence Fishburne) before planning his next steps.

The official synopsis for the fourth movie is as follows: "John Wick uncovers a path to defeating the High Table. But before he can earn his freedom, Wick must face off against a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into foes."

The new enemy referenced there is Bill Skarsgard's dapper European aristocrat the Marquis de Gramont. Familiar faces set to return include Ian McShane's wry mentor Winston and Lance Reddick's Continental Hotel concierge Charon.

With blistering set-pieces set to span the globe from Japan to France, as marshalled by returning helmer Chad Stahelski, there's no denying the escalating ambition of the John Wick franchise. A fifth movie is due for release after this one and then there's the small matter of the spin-off movie, Ballerina.

No Time To Die scene-stealer Ana De Armas (who appeared with Reeves in the thriller Knock Knock) will take the lead in a movie about a young woman seeking vengeance for her murdered family. Len Wiseman will direct with Reeves, McShane and Reddick all set to make appearances.

In the meantime, however, let's revel in another instalment of Reeves' career-rejuvenating franchise. Stow away your pencils because John Wick is back in town on March 24, 2023. The trailer is ready to watch below.
