Vin Diesel announces Fast X: Part 2 release date

Fast X sped onto Cineworld screens earlier in May, but for those who've seen it, this is just the first instalment in a wider story.

Franchise star and Dominic Toretto actor Vin Diesel has now announced that Fast X: Part 2 (discover our alternative Cineworld titles by clicking here) will be landing on April 4th, 2025.

On Instagram, Diesel notes that the eleventh Fast & Furious movie will be "an effort from our fast family and studio like you have never seen". Check out the full post below.

Are we also due to get a twelth Fast & Furious blockbuster? Diesel had this to say to Variety: "Going into making this movie, the studio asked if this could be a two-parter. And after the studio saw this one, they said, ‘Could you make Fast X the finale, a trilogy?’”

Co-star Michelle Rodriguez, who plays Letty in the series, has also chimed in, saying: "It's three acts in any story."

Fast X unleashes Jason Momoa's villainous Dante on the Fast-chise. The actor has been praised for his enjoyably OTT turn (to the rumoured consternation of Diesel), stealing the limelight from a host of saga veterans and newcomers including Jason Statham, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron and Brie Larson.
