December's must-see Cineworld releases: Wonka, Aquaman and more

1. Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé (released December 1st)

Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé invites you to enjoy an intimate and unparalleled look at one of the world's biggest artists. The movie was captured during the Renaissance World Tour, which followed the release of her acclaimed 2022 Renaissance album and ran from May to October 2023, spanning Sweden to Missouri.

2. Wonka (released December 8th)

Dune star Timothée Chalamet plays the world's most famous chocolatier, Willy Wonka, in this delicious and uplifting origin story from Paddington director Paul King. We meet the famed inventor in his pre-chocolate factory days as he struggles to convince the local community of the worth of his creations

3. The Three Musketeers: Milady (released December 15th)

Author Alexandre Dumas' classic literary creation The Three Musketeers romps back onto the big screen. This rousing period action movie reunites the stars of the hit Three Musketeers: D'Artagnan, chiefly François Civil as D'Artagnan, Vincent Cassel as Athos, Pio Marmaï as Porthos and Romain Duris as Aramis. They're joined once again by the enjoyably fickle Eva Green as the titular Milady.



4. Godzilla Minus One (released December 15th)

The 37th Godzilla movie returns the classic Kaiju franchise to its roots. It's the 33rd movie to be produced by the original Godzilla studio Toho and focuses on post-war Japan's recovery from the horrifying impact of the atomic bomb. However, Japanese citizens soon discover they have other things to worry about when the gargantuan Godzilla emerges from the atomic wreckage to cause havoc.

5. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (released December 21st)

Jason Momoa's newly crowned Atlantean king mus defend his honour and his family in the final instalment of the DC Universe. Before James Gunn reboots the franchise with his Superman reboot, watch Aquaman team up with the outcast Orm (Patrick Wilson) to bring down the villainous Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II).

6. Next Goal Wins (released December 26th)

Taika Waititi and Michael Fassbender join forces for this quintessential underdog sports comedy. Next Goal Wins dramatises the events seen in the documentary of the same name, being the story of the underachieving American Samoa team and the drunken Dutch captain Thomas von Rongen (Fassbender) who helped steer them to victory.



7. Ferrari (released December 26th)

Director Michael Mann and actor Adam Driver put their foot to the floor and bring us the true story of legendary car designer Enzo Ferrari. Watch as the imposing Enzo channels the grief over his son's death and the imminent collapse of his business into the full-throttle 1957 Mille Miglia race.
