The Super Mario Bros Movie (previewing April 5th and April 6th; released April 7th)

From Bowser's world to the Mushroom Kingdom, the iconic environments of Nintendo's Super Mario franchise bound onto the big screen in a blaze of colour and adventure. Chris Pratt voices the titular plumbing superhero, Anya Taylor-Joy is Princess Peach, Jack Black is Bowser and Seth Rogen is Donkey Kong in this nostalgia-laced animation from the team behind Minions.

AIR (released April 5th)

Good Will Hunting collaborators Ben Affleck and Matt Damon reunite for this uplifting true story. Ever wonder how the iconic AIR Jordan sports shoe came into existence? Find out in this humorous and spirited comedy-drama as Damon's Nike executive Sonny Vaccaro signs up a basketball rookie by the name of Michael Jordan, a youngster who will ultimately revolutionise the sport. Affleck, Viola Davis and Jason Bateman co-star.

Superman 45th anniversary (released April 7th for one day only)

Some four and a half decades after its initial release, Superman is entrenched as the grandfather of the contemporary superhero movie.
