Yorgos Lanthimos' new film Kinds of Kindness is being released in summer 2024

While director Yorgos Lanthimos basks in the Oscar-winning success of Poor Things, he's also busy prepping his new film, Kinds of Kindness. If you enjoyed the irreverent Emma Stone vehicle, for which she won her second Oscar, then good news: Kinds of Kindness is arriving sooner than expected in June 2024.

It's the sort of news that compels us to take to the dancefloor and engage in joyously crazy gyrations – well, maybe. Kinds of Kindness (previously titled And) once again showcases Stone who leads the ensemble of an anthology film set in the USA. Lanthimos has once again collaborated with regular screenwriter Efthimis Filippou who shared a credit on the likes of The Lobster and The Killing of a Sacred Deer.

And the cast? Oh boy. Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie, and Hunter Schafer all feature in Lanthimos' latest odyssey, and we're expecting it to be as brilliantly bonkers as ever.

As confirmed by the following tweet, Kinds of Kindness is released on June 21st, 2024.
