The Little Mermaid
Halle Bailey takes on the role of Disney's iconic mermaid Ariel in the studio's lavish live-action remake and holds forth with a gorgeous singing voice, taking us under the sea and beyond. Melissa McCarthy is the villainous Ursula Javier Bardem is King Triton, Jonah Hauer-King is Prince Eric, Jacob Tremblay is Flounder, Daveed Diggs is Sebastian and Awkwafina is Scuttle.
It's Vin Diesel versus Jason Momoa in the increasingly gargantuan new chapter of the Fast and Furious franchise. The cast is becoming as tooled up as the cars themselves with old favourites like Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Statham, Sung Kang, Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren rubbing shoulders with series newcomers like Brie Larson.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
Fire up the Awesome Mix one final time as Marvel's most singular and eccentric heroes face the music. In James Gunn's final film for the studio, we're presented with the tragic backstory of Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper), although not at the expense of the irreverent humour and rocking soundtrack choices for which the Guardians have become famous.
The Super Mario Bros Movie
There's still time to catch this smash-hit Nintendo adaptation on the biggest screen you can find. Chris Pratt voices the plucky Mario in this all-action CGI animated extravaganza from the makers of Despicable Me and Minions.
My Fairy Troublemaker
Violetta is in training to become a tooth fairy, but instead of conjuring up fun toys like a real tooth fairy all she manages is... violets. Now the annual exam is coming up: Only the fairies that pass it receive the gem that transports them to and from the human world in order to collect the milk teeth and magic a toy.
Boonie Bears: Guardian Code
Young bear cubs Briar and Bramble lived happily in Crystal Peaks with their mother Barbara until a fire broke out one day. Briar saw his mother leaving the burning building never to return. He was heartbroken. The cubs grew up believing their mum had abandoned them... Now, the bear brothers and Vick their best friend are escorting a scientist named Charlotte to a research base.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
Miles Morales/Spider-Man (Shameik Moore) heads back into the multiverse in this eagerly anticipated sequel to the Oscar-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Expect retina-scorching animation and clever Spidey Easter Eggs galore as Miles and Gwen Stacey/Spider-Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld) confront the likes of Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Isaac) and other classic characters.
