The Nan Movie interview: Joanie Taylor tells us about her favourite cinema snacks

Getting older brings the benefits of added wisdom – and when that doesn't work, you can always swear like a docker to get your point across.

The elderly star of The Nan Movie, Joanie Taylor, is well-versed in the art of rich Anglo Saxon, having repeatedly brought the house down on The Catherine Tate Show. And now, Joanie fronts her own movie in which she and her long-suffering grandson Jamie (Matthew Horne) embark on a road trip to Ireland. Needless to say, chaos ensues.

We caught up with Tate's delightfully irascible pensioner to quiz her about this significant moment in the spotlight. We also wanted to get the lowdown on her favourite cinema snacks – and, true to form, she gave a memorable answer. Check it out below.
