With entire countries in lockdown and people being forced to work from home, life has suddenly taken on a very surreal air. And it's the same for A-list celebrities around the world, too.
Fortunately, in the depths of this crisis, some of our most recognisable faces have found brilliantly inspiring and funny ways to get us all through the self-isolation/quarantine period. We've rounded up five such responses.
1. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost
The Shaun of the Dead stars and real-life best pals re-enact a scene from their classic rom-zom-com. Remember the whole "Kill Phillip" scene from Shaun? It gets an amusing twist here – watch out for the panic-buying punchline at the end. One question remains, however: will the Winchester still be open after all this has blown over?
2. Gal Gadot
Wonder Woman herself assembled a host of international celebs to perform a rendition of John Lennon's 'Imagine'. Few of them are in tune (leading to much savage mocking on social media), but hey, at least it distracts our attention from the global situation for a couple of minutes.
3. Arnold Schwarzenegger
When the Terminator tells you to obey health and safety, you listen. Arnie tweeted out a reaction to the Coronavirus crisis from his home, with a miniature pony and a donkey in attendance. No doubt he'll be back in due course with another update.
4. Seth Rogen
In typical Seth Rogen fashion, his response to self-isolation was to get blitzed and watch Cats for the first time. All while live-tweeting his experience. Much of his message is unrepeatable here but we've got a quick screengrab.
5. Tom Hanks
The world was rocked when word got out that Forrest Gump himself had contracted Covid-19. Fortunately, Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson are now recovering – and his sly Instagram picture contains a neat, hidden joke.
